waiting for baby zara…
tomorrow i will photograph baby zara.. but a few weeks ago i photographed her family in wait. this family is one i have watched grow. wedding. maternity. baby. maternity. baby… love being able to be part of such tender pieces of peoples lives. jessica is one stunning woman… the proof is in the images below. we chose location, we chose timing for best light but we had not planned for the surprise element of wind… i love its addition to these photographs… the movement in that beautiful red hair and tall grass really made these come alive. thank you for coming back to me when life calls for documentation. cant wait to meet baby z tomorrow. xos

a tender full heart elopement that happened early summer. when there were more wet days the dry. more dark days then bright.. somehow in the hours before their ceremony the skies opened up and the sun lit the sky. it was really very spectacular. xs

in waiting many summer weddings to share with you but for now… these: a small collection of the portraits from my final wedding in 2011. i could not have enjoyed creating these more… a lovely lovely crisp winter afternoon complete with sunshine, bare trees and bushes, my wonderful assistant corie, and of course, the beautiful bride & groom. xs
