this family is a joy to know. i have been lucky to photograph their classy wedding day as well as both of their boys when they arrived into the world. this time was really wonderful as they had just moved into their new home… which suits them perfectly and is going to be a wonderful home to raise their family in. i am so happy for them! the house is so full of life..  there is always music on and if the mood hits, dancing or playing instruments is encouraged. such a healthy place to be a kid. i was really touched and inspired being around them for a few hours  to capture these images of their latest creation… precious alexnader. xos

this wedding was fun loving and straight from the heart. there is a beautiful connection shared by these two  and luckily they have a large family to share that love with. next i will be posting the ceremony & reception and you will see for yourself. the inclusion of their grandchildren was beyond anything i have ever seen before…. they all had a role in the ceremony. and when it came time for dinner…  the kids shared the table with the bride and groom. very special for them. coming from the prairies with only one  request… an arbutus tree.  so to the tree we went as well as to the near by round house for some portraits to remember the day they said forever on. what  a great day this was… much more on it way. xos

this dear trio came to me from across the strait. they sailed their way to brentwood bay lodge for a stay and photo shoot. we were really looking forward to this session as this little man is truly a miracle baby… he has grown strong and overcome so much in his short time on earth. it was really special to see the love his parents have for him. it warmed my heart. still does. i hope these photographs will be cherished and adored for years to come. this little guy is going to have an amazing life.. already does. xos
