i would like to start by saying… i am so sorry to anyone who follows my journal for my scarce postings this summer. i have many a weddings tucked away that i promise to share and also plenty family session to make their way to my journal. here find the amazing jackson! playing with bubbles and his mum & dad one sunny afternoon. just before moving into their new home we made these to capture where jacksons first year of life was spent. such a fun time in life when playing is the best way to pass away the dog days of summer. had a great time creating these. xos

this family will continue to inspire me as mine grows. i found so much joy in watching these kids interact with each other, with their parents. they have a bond that shone. it was so amazing to see the closeness they have and the team work it takes to sail a ship this size only brings them closer. and just because this is the way life works.. it would turn out that sue used to work on ships with my dad. how cool. we took these photographs after waiting for summer to arrive, late july. an evening sail complete with fresh crab. a treat for me and some photographic memories for them. xos
